Opportunity for an Artist/Educator working with Photography
The Snapshot Project
Brighton Photo Biennial, in partnership with Aimhigher and Widening Participation wish to commission an artist who works with photography to facilitate Snapshot a project with teachers and undergraduates that enables the undergraduates to collaborate (with the artist) to devise and deliver photography based workshops with school pupils at three secondary schools in Brighton & Hove/East Sussex.
Extensive experience of working in a formal education context with young people aged 12 – 16, teaching at undergraduate level, collaborative practice, and of managing multi-agency/partnership projects is essential.
Fee: £2,000 plus expenses
Timescale: January 2010 - December 2010 (specific times and days negotiable).
